“We are humans. We are humanity. We are Humanity for Change.”

Meet the Team

HFC is not operated from a desk but instead by dedicated people who put themselves in stricken and sometimes desperate parts of the world where solutions are not often provided nor opportunity not easily found. Meet the team behind the words and the images.

Anthony
Fiorin

Founder

Originally from Oregon, a childhood connection with nature would galvanize a love affair with the outdoors, travel and faraway places. With a camera in-hand and many years logged, faraway desperate places would provide a global education in social injustice and produce a sustained and enduring extended empathy. Though, the impetus for HFC would come from growing up in relative poverty and seeing first hand how opportunity can change the course of one's life.

Cyia
Batten

Director of The Lost & Found Project

Originally from New York City, Cyia is a long-time LA transplant who fully appreciates the benefits of both coasts. A respected teacher and speaker, she runs a successful healing practice in Venice, CA where she is also raising her son, Atticus. An integral part of HFC, Cyia has joined ground missions in Greece, Macedonia, and France.

Josh
Franer

Photographer & Director

LA-based director / photographer recognized for his profound ability to unearth beauty in the ordinary and make it special. He directs docu-narrative commercials and often collaborates with brands creating custom content and series. Josh splits his time between California and his home state of Texas and enjoys international travel for work on charity-related projects. His wide range of work has been featured in Rolling Stone, MTV, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, GQ and AOL, and due to his drive, efficiency and consistency as a director, his list of clients includes names such as Disney, GE, P&G, Ford, Team Mobile, Samsung, Chevy, Rolls Royce, Microsoft, and TED.
